Step 2 - Gather materials to go on your website

Gather the materials needed to make your website prior to your appointment.  Visit out our check list of materials you will need to make your site.  Having these ready will save time and therefore money when it comes to actually building your site.

Step 3 - Come and work with us and design your website

We will review your website needs and materials, select the best website software for your needs and immediately commence building your website.  Our simple specialist software allows us to easily create bespoke Website design incorporating your businesses corporate image, colour scheme, logos and relevant graphics.  If you would like we can integrate animated elements like headers, buttons or graphics giving your site design a professional edge.  We can also edit and upload any video clips you would like to have on your website.

If you don't yet have any of these elements but want them please mention this when booking an appointment as we offer all of these services.  Or alternately these can be added at a later date.

Step 4 - Arrange domains and hosting

In order to set up your website you will need to purchase both a domain e.g. www.YourWebSiteName.com.  Also hosting which is the place for your website to reside.

Our standard hosting package costs just 5.85 per month.  Please note although hosting can be found for a lower price elsewhere it often sacrifices speed, security, support and reliability.

You are welcome to purchase your own domains and hosting but we do recommend our own services as offering good value for money.  Hosting your sites with Guided Website Design allows us to get your project up more quickly and resolve any technical difficulties more efficiently.

Step 5 - Install your website / set up your email

In order to get your website up and running we will install your website and set up the database that it runs from.  We will also get your new email addresses set up should you need them.

Step 6 - Learn to use and administer your website

Now your website is ready for us to add in the text and images for each of the pages from the materials provided by you.  This will not only complete your site but also give you the skills you need to be able to update and manage your site yourself in the future.

Step 7 - Make payment and website release

Now that your website is complete release of your website to you will immediatly follow full settlement of our invoice which can be there and then for cash, paypal or bank transfer.

Step 8 - Submission to Google, Yahoo and other Search Engines

Now your site has been released and made available to the public we will submit your site to the major search engines.  Please note that the time it takes to get listed on search engines can vary, average times are around 3 weeks.  If you would like advice on how to improve your search engine ranking this is also available, an appointment can be arranged either with your initial appointment or at another time.
