On this course you will part take in building your website, learn how to add pages and how to update them. You will be using a professional content management system and you will learn how to install extras like pro shopping carts, Galleries and Guest books.

Get a website day is not aimed at website designers, it is aimed at business and people who need to get their product or service to market without paying through the nose for every website related service.  On the day of the course we will install a content management system, design a layout for your website with our expert help and learn to use your website.  You will also be shown how to upgrade your website and add facilities like fully functional shopping carts, galleries and forums.

Preparations

Upon booking the course we will contact you regarding the type of website you would like to setup.  We will need to organise domains and hosting with you before the course, this ensures that we can get everything done in the allotted time on the day. Associated costs

In order to run any website you will need to pay for 'hosting' which is the place where your website resides and the name of your website (domain name) Eg:www.YOURWEBSITENAME.com or co.uk.

This course comes with 3 months free hosting after which you are welcome to continue with us at £3 per month or you can arrange to transfer your site to another hosting provider.

Domain names .co.uk and .com cost between £4 & £10 per year, we will talk you though buying your domain after you have purchased the course.

Please dont purchase your domains and hosting before we have contacted you, becuase not all hosting packages are compatible with the websites created on the course.
